Advanced

advanced 1 | advanced 2

The Advanced Levels are reserved for higher skilled dancers, most of whom will have had vocational training in their youth. Advanced 1 follows a progressive structure like the Beginner and Improver levels, teaching complex steps including turns in attitude, cabrioles and Bournenville styled jumps and handouts and videos are provided. Some classes are taken without the barre for added strength. Advanced 2 is like a professional company class, building on dance quality, virtuosity and artistry.

Advanced 1 teaches complex steps and enchainements such as turns in attitude, brise' vole', cabrioles and jete' elance' and is the ideal pre-cursor to Advanced 2 suiting higher skilled dancers. Classes are taken without the barre for added strength. Combine with Advanced 2 if more experienced and / or Improvers 2. Intermediate Pointe follows.

Optional Extra: Intermediate Pointe

Advanced 2 is ideal for professionals, returning dancers who are ballet-fit and vocational students who wish to work on strength, technique and developing their artistry. Combine with Advanced 1 (which teaches many of the complex steps in Adv 2) and / or with Improvers 2. Variations en Pointe and Pas de Deux follows.
